Welcome to Pepis Dog Refuge Official Web site!

Pepis refuge was founded by Alan and Jane Brian in 2005 ..................
They had no intention of starting a refuge, but, after finding a dog hanging from a tree on their land they decided that they would do what they could for the abandoned and ill treated dogs in this part of Spain. Since opening, the refuge has provided shelter for more than 400 dogs and re-homed more than 300.
Pepis refuge aims to ensure that:
  • All dogs, rescued and boarded, have a safe and caring living environment.
  • There is a regular and nutritional diet.
  • Veterinary care is provided as and when needed, including chipping vaccinations and neutering.
  • All efforts are made to re-home as many dogs as possible, both in Spain and in wider Europe via Belgium and Finland

AT LAST!!! Pet passport rules to be relaxed?

It will become cheaper and easier to travel abroad with pets when new rules are introduced at the start of next year. The UK will harmonise its pet movement rules with the rest of the European Union from 1 January 2012, bringing the UK’s Pet Travel Scheme into line with the most recent science.... http://www.defra.gov.uk/news/2011/06/30/new-rules-pet-passports
